The club places an emphasis on providing a range of indoor and outdoor activities and also place a strong emphasis on encouraging the members to take an active part in all aspects of the life of their club.
We use group work and group activities to develop team work and social networking skills among the young people who attend. Activities might be issue-based but will still make use of fun participative methods that young people can take part in.
We encourage young people to participate in exercise, sports, games and social activities.
The group includes plenty of activities with something to suit everyone.
Some of the activities include climbing, bowling, archery, orienteering, cookery, swimming, quizzes, games and art/music inspired sessions.
The programme aims to offer a combination of play, activities and opportunities designed to encourage children and young people to develop their skills and confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
We promote work with children from a range of backgrounds and with a range of needs.
Suitable for children aged 8-12.
