Pilmeny Development Project in conjunction with Pilmeny Youth Centre currently run LOSP (Leith Early Intervention Project).
The club places an emphasis on providing a range of indoor and outdoor activities and also place a strong emphasis on encouraging the members to take an active part in all aspects of the life of their club.
We use group work and group activities to develop team work and social networking skills among the young people who attend. Activities might be issue-based but will still make use of fun participative methods that young people can take part in.
Physical activity, music, visual arts and crafts are all part of CYs tradition.
We encourage young people to participate in exercise, sports, games and social activities.
The programme aims to offer a combination social activities; educational activities and opportunities designed to encourage children and young people to develop their skills and confidence in a safe and supportive environment.
We promote work with children from a range of backgrounds and with a range of needs.
Suitable for ages 12+.
