Age Scotland is an independent charity working throughout Scotland to help make the lives of older people more secure, comfortable, dignified and enjoyable.
Born out of the merger in 2010 of Age Concern Scotland and Help the Aged in Scotland, Age Scotland is the leading national authority on older people, age and ageing.
Age Scotland is the leading charity representing older people in Scotland and supporting their rights and interests.
Our Work
We are working towards a Scotland where everyone can love later life. That means inspiring people to see that they can change their own and others' later life for the better, enabling people to make those changes, and supporting those older people who are struggling as they live longer to achieve better, happier, healthier lives.
Age Scotland, part of the Age UK family, is an independently constituted Scottish charity dedicated to improving the lives of older people in Scotland. Our vision is of a Scotland and a world where older people flourish as valued and equal citizens.
