What is “settled status”?
“Settled status” is an immigration status for EU citizens who started living in the UK before 31 December 2020, and for their family members. Some will only get a temporary status, known as “pre-settled status.”
What is our service?
Our support service offers free help in applying for the status. Groups at risk of not applying include those with mental health issues, survivors of domestic abuse, elderly experiencing a language barrier or digital exclusion, and others. Our project will benefit predominantly but not exclusively Polish nationals in the Lothians and the Borders.

We collaborate with the Citizens Rights Project who have a proven track record of awareness raising about the EUSS scheme and of engaging hard to reach communities.
The deadline for applying for “Pre/settled status” in most cases has now passed. However, we still offer free immigration help with making late applications. We also help in accessing the digital immigration profile and in submitting EU Settlement Scheme applications for family members. **NB. We do NOT advise on the EU Family Permit.**
We offer support in Polish, Romanian and Spanish.
Covid19 Update: We can still carry out the sessions in person. But we do try to do as much as possible online or over the phone. Social distancing measures are in place for in-person sessions.
