Our Carers’ Group meets every Monday to offer advice, support, friendship, and mutual support from Carers. The group is open to anyone aged 16 and over in South West Edinburgh.
A carer is anyone who cares, unpaid, for a friend or family member who due to illness, disability, frailty, a mental health problem, or an addiction cannot cope without their support.
Caring can be a rewarding and positive experience for many, but it can also be a stressful and isolating experience.
A carer does not need to be living with the person they care for and can be any age, from young children to older people.
This group operates on a waiting list.
