Funded by the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund, the Communities for Conservation project aims at inspiring minority communities to reduce their carbon footprint.
The project food growing workshops.
We run 5 community gardens where you and come and learn how to grow your own food
Royal Botanic Garden Saturdays between 2pm and 4:30pm. The focus is on informal learning and sharing of skills, knowledge and experience in growing your own food and preparing/cooking that food.
Wester Hailes Community Garden near the Whale Arts Agency, every Saturday from 11am to 1pm.
Community Garden at Milton Road Edinburgh College on Mondays from 11am to 1pm.
Drumbrae Community Garden with the Rannoch Community Centre every Friday morning from 9.15am to 11.15. Lead contact is Jean-Matthieu Gaunand and Rhona Donaldson.
