Chinese classes are held for 2 hours on Saturdays during the school term at Drummond Community High School.
Interest classes from 12:05pm - 1:00pm.
There are Cantonese and Mandarin classes, including GCSE, A-Level and Mandarin Hanyu Shui Ping Kao Shi (HSK) to accommodate students of all levels aged from five to adult.
Students achieve outstanding examination results each and every year. In 2016, 100% of students achieved A grades; in 2015 and 2014, over 90% were awarded A grades at Edexcel General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE). In 2016, 100% pass at Edexcel General Certificate of Education (GCE) A Level.
Edinburgh Chinese School is partly sponsored by the City of Edinburgh Council. All students pay a fee to cover the let charges of school premises, text books, teaching materials and the running of the school.

Students who apply AFTER 16th June 2018 will be required to pay a £5 administration charge on top of the fee (New students exempt):
£100 per year - ordinary classes
£140 per year - exam classes (i.e. Exam Class SQA N5/Higher)

*Adult Classes are subject to number of enrolments.
Our school terms run alongside to that of Drummond Community High School, which are from September to June. The classes are held on Saturdays from 10:00am - 12:00pm (term time) and 12:05pm - 12:50pm Interest class.
Although the majority of the students are Chinese, we welcome people from all races with any level of Cantonese or Mandarin.
