COVID-19 Service UPDATE...

Our counselling service is not currently operating face to face sessions. Our existing counselling clients are now receiving distance counselling via the phone or an online video platform. We are open to new counselling referrals but we do have a waiting list. Please email referrals@crew2000.org.uk.

Normal service details...

We provide free counselling for people concerned about their stimulant and other social drug use, for example cannabis, cocaine, ecstasy or amphetamines.

We offer up to 30 weekly sessions, on a Monday to Friday daytime, for individual counselling with a qualified counsellor. We offer evening sessions, but there may be a longer wait for these appointments.

Our counselling is person centred, which means that we work with what feels important to each individual client. For some people, this might mean looking directly at their drug taking, and for other people it might mean exploring more about underlying issues or things from their past.

Counselling for people affected by someone else’s drug use

We offer short-term counselling of six weekly sessions for people affected by another’s drug use, for example, a partner, a friend or a family member. We can also signpost people in this situation onto longer term support.

Referring to Crew

You can access Crew Counselling by phoning 0131 220 3404 or visiting our Drop-in. We’ll ask you for some initial details, and after this a counsellor will contact you to arrange an initial appointment to see if this is the right service for you.

If it’s not the right time for you to engage in counselling, we can look at options for referral on to other organisations and putting more support into place if this would be helpful to you.
