Normal service details...

The Edinburgh Self-Harm Project also explores the needs of family, carers and professionals in contact with people who self harm, providing information, advice and support.

The Project offers Parents and Carers Support Sessions. This is a 1:1 service for any parent, carer or friend who is dealing with the issues of suicide and self-harm.

Anyone supporting someone who is self-harming can go along and ask for information, ask any questions they may have, express worries, offload their own feelings about the situation and get some guidance and ideas on how they can best support the person they care about.

Appointments are flexible and arranged within the working hours of the week, preferably on Monday, Tuesday or Thursday.

Penumbra also provide information, advice and support to professionals, including free awareness raising information sessions about self harm.
