Number 20...

No. 20 provide supported accommodation to young women aged 16-25 who are homeless. Residents can stay for up to 2 years or until suitable housing becomes available.

**Due to the nature of this service, Number 20 does not publicise its address**

No.20 is staffed 24 hours a day and access to the building is controlled. The service is staffed by a team of Practitioners who are supported by a Senior Practitioner and Service Manager. Everyone has their own keyworker who can offer support that helps people develop the skills and confidence they need to move on to a more secure and happy future in a home within a community.

No.20 has 6 bedsit rooms available that are ensuite and have a kitchen facilities. There is also a large communal kitchen and living area where meals, activities, groups and courses can run from.

At No.20 we want to promote better health and wellbeing for all so our staff, volunteers and external organisations can deliver groups and courses in the building or take people out into the community to take part in anything from sports to employability groups to study groups.

We also have visiting specialists who can offer housing and benefit advice and advocacy, life coaching and mentoring. Our groups and activities change depending on what people living with us want to do.

We also offer young people staying with us who may not want to move straight away into their own tenancy the option to apply to move into our independent living flats sited around the city centre. These flats have housing support from a staff member from Stopover who is dedicated to this role and a housing officer from Dunedin Canmore.
