We provide iPad training to families helped by Family Fund who are raising disabled and seriously ill children and young people.
Coronavirus update
We are still running online one-to-one sessions in the current lockdown to families who have received a grant from us.
Answer a few quick questions at https://www.familyfund.org.uk/digital about your training needs and we’ll get in touch soon.
Online sessions take place with one of our trainers, via your iPad. They last between one to two hours and trainers will chat to you first about what you want to learn.
This might include:
- How to stay in touch with family and friends online
- Staying safe online
- The iPad’s accessibility settings (how to adjust settings to support your child’s individual needs)
- Fun educational activities (for example, use of apps like GarageBand or Apple Book store)
- How to access services online.
We are now able to run virtual group sessions too. If you run a community group such as a parent carer forum and want to find out more about arranging a free online training session, email our team.
