If you’re a professional looking for uniform, here’s how we can help...

Request a batch of nearly-new uniform for your school or group...

We can sometimes provide a batch of nearly-new generic uniform in excellent condition for you to pass on to families through your school, youth club, community group or similar.

Request a batch of nearly-new uniforms for your school or group...

You are welcome to contact us at info.esub@gmail.com if your school, youth club or organisation would benefit from a bundle of nearly-new uniform to pass on to families.

We ask that schools or groups who receive a bundle of uniform pass it on to families at no cost. It might sometimes be appropriate to ask families for an optional donation for making use of a swap-shop or similar, but items that we provide should be made available for free.

Request new school uniform for a child or young person...

If you work with a child who would benefit from ESUB’s help, make a referral at https://edinburghuniform.org/uniform-referral-form for a complete pack of new school uniform.

We can only provide uniform for children and young people who attend a City of Edinburgh school. There are a number of uniform banks in other parts of the country; each local group is run independently.

Please note that we do not accept referrals directly from families/individuals; referrals must be made through a suitable professional or community group, such as:

- Social worker
- Pupil support teacher
- Family support worker
- Women’s Aid
- Youth group

We do not supply school shoes, although we sometimes provide gym shoes or trainers. Grants for school shoes (and jackets) can be requested from the Edinburgh & Lothians Trust Fund (https://www.eltf.org.uk/funds/epfc).

City of Edinburgh Council provide grants to help buy school clothes to families who meet certain criteria. See the Council website (https://www.edinburgh.gov.uk/food-clothing) for details.
