As the only deaf-led BSL video translation and production service in Scotland – with experience working with clients from the public, private and voluntary sectors – we are ideally placed to help you make your organisation’s information accessible to all deaf people. Together, we can ensure you meet the statutory obligations of the British Sign Language Scotland Act (2015) and Equalities Act (2010).
Content Creation
Based at our head office in Edinburgh, we have a well-equipped studio and production office where we will work on your project from start to finish. Depending on your preference and requirements, filming can also be done on location, which can add an extra layer of interest to the subject.
The types of content we can produce include but are not limited to, promotional material, website, and social media content, all of which can be made fully accessible to sign language users via British Sign Language video translation. Subtitles and voiceover can also be added to ensure it is accessible to other audiences too.
For all our BSL video translations, we work with professional deaf presenters, all of whom are sign language users with a wealth of skills and experience across different domains such as legal, mental health, etc. They also represent diverse range of audiences and age groups. This allows us to carefully match the presenter to your project and target audience.
Event and conference live streaming and filming
In addition to the above, we also provide production and BSL video translation services for the live streaming of events, conferences, AGMs, product launches and more, allowing you to reach as wide an audience as possible. These events can be broadcast via your website and social medial channels, for either public or private viewing. As part of this service, we can also provide live captioning and sign language interpretation, again making it accessible to all.
If you prefer, we can film your event and produce a video containing as much or as little content as you require – whether that be all your speakers and their presentations or just selected highlights.
