SERVICE DETAILS
Art Buds in Muirhouse is a fun, free programme of outdoor creative learning for local early years and school-aged children in Muirhouse (postcodes EH4 4, EH4 5, EH5 1, EH5 2), developed by Art Buds Collective in partnership with North Edinburgh Arts.
We’re offering children the chance to attend weekly term-time classes exploring art-making in nature with experienced artist educators.
Our adventures will take place in Gyspsy Brae Recreation Ground.
Additionally, Art Buds in Muirhouse run a programme of week-long day camps during the summer holidays which take place at Granton Beach.

At Art Buds in Muirhouse you will:
- Learn art-making skills
- Develop problem solving skills, independence, confidence and respect for nature
- Enjoy safe and respectful foraging
- Learn about the environment and how to live and create more sustainably
- Receive free outdoor clothing to keep you comfy while you make and explore
- Free outdoor kit and a healthy snack will be provided for all participants
