Gilmerton Bowling Club

We have over 500 members including men's, ladies', seniors' and juniors' sections with more than 200 players actively participating in bowling events within the club from April through to September each year. In addition the club is proud to host two of the most prestigious tournaments in the Midlothian Bowls calendar: the Eddie Adams Memorial Singles and the David Wales Pairs.

The club also has a busy social calendar with a cabaret or band appearing in our Function Hall each and every Saturday night through the year. Bingo is on offer prior to the Saturday evening show as well as on a Tuesday evening. We also have a weekly Treasure Chest draw with prizes regularly reaching four figures.

Our Function Hall can be let for private functions when not in use by the club. However the let must be booked by a member. Catering can be arranged by the club, or kitchen facilities can be made available for those who wish.

We also regularly cater for funeral teas, and can once again offer a bespoke solution to suit your needs.
